Data and privacyHow live data is used
Address text or device coordinates are first sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim for Melbourne address confirmation. The confirmed address and coordinates remain in memory; StudyBloom does not store them or your route history.
Weather and nearby destinations use StudyBloom AWS endpoints when configured. They forward the requested coordinates to the relevant OpenStreetMap or weather service without storing the original coordinates; destination responses are cached using a derived area key. Local development calls the public services directly. Map data uses OpenStreetMap and walking routes use the FOSSGIS routing service. These external services receive only the location information needed to answer each request.
